Among Kazakh podcasts, I listen to Arman Suleimenov’s nFactorial Podcast for technology, “101 Druzhba Shaekina” for business, Zamandas and Dopsoz for culture, as well as Gulnara Bazhkenova’s channel for political news. Since I have been living abroad for almost two years, these podcasts help me stay updated on events in Kazakhstan.
Regarding global trends, I am only interested in technology and business, so I listen to the Y Combinator Startup Podcast with stories from founders who have gone through YC, This Week in Tech — a short overview of tech news, IoT Podcast — about news in the Internet of Things sector, WSJ Tech News Briefing, and a16z Podcast.
I rarely watch episodes of Impaulsive with Paul Logan, The Joe Rogan Experience, Intelligence Squared, Chatham House — these cover the everyday lives of Americans, biographies of celebrities, discussions of world politics, and other global topics.
