South Korean HUCORP opens an IT outsourcing office in Uzbekistan

IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Jahongir Kagitov, Head of the Department for Export Development of IT Services, held a meeting with representatives of the South Korean company HUCORP, headed by Executive Director Kim Son Gi. During the negotiations, the company submitted an application for residency and is actively planning to expand its workforce.

HUCORP is an IT company specializing in the development of educational content and digital solutions. In 2024, the company's trade turnover amounted to $60 million, and its team consists of more than 1,200 employees.

During the meeting, HUCORP submitted an application for resident status at IT Park Uzbekistan, confirming its long-term plans for expansion in the region. Kim Son Gi confirmed the active phase of team recruitment in Uzbekistan — in the near future, specialists will be trained to fulfill outsourcing orders for the Korean market.

The prospects for deepening cooperation with IT Park Uzbekistan in terms of joint projects and educational initiatives at the regional level were also discussed.

This cooperation became possible thanks to the work of the IT Park Uzbekistan office in Seoul, which actively promotes the attraction of Korean companies and advances Uzbekistan as a reliable IT partner in the East Asian region.

HUCORP demonstrates strategic interest in Uzbekistan as a new educational and technological hub in the region. Support for such residents strengthens the IT direction in the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem and opens up new opportunities for local specialists and content production.
