Yandex has introduced detailed breakdowns in taxi fare calculations

Passengers will be able to see what makes up the price of each taxi ride, including the exact size of the surge coefficient during high demand. Yandex Go added price breakdown to the app in response to passengers' requests. It is generated for each ride and shown before the passenger orders a taxi for the selected route.

The price breakdown includes several blocks: the cost of dispatching the car, the base fare — the total cost of minutes and kilometers along the route, a surcharge during periods of high demand if applicable, and the cost of additional options, such as for a child seat or for transporting animals.

This price breakdown will help passengers make a decision: whether to travel now or wait until peak demand subsides or traffic congestion decreases, choose another fare option, or adjust the route using public transportation.
