Yandex has introduced a feature for summarizing video clips

Yandex has launched a solution for creating video summaries.

The generation of descriptions based on information in the video is performed using the YandexGPT neural network. It processes the audio track transcription, prepared using Yandex's speech recognition function, and extracts the most important information from it.

The "Short Summary" feature will allow users to find out before watching if the video contains the information they are interested in. Additionally, the summary includes timestamps for quick navigation to key moments. Video creators can use it as ready-made content.

The feature is available in the latest versions of Yandex Browser — both mobile and desktop. To use it, simply click the "Short Summary" button on the page with the video.
