In June 2025, Tumar VC and White Hill Capital invested over $1 million in startups at forums in Tashkent, Almaty, and Baku. The portfolio includes Prometei.kz, Epsilon3.ai, Porte.tech, Clopos, and Push30, as well as Xpence, which continues to receive support. The fund, established in 2021 with the support of the World Bank, specializes in scaling technology companies in Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the Middle East.
In June 2025, the foundation’s team and White Hill Capital participated in the region’s largest investment forums and signed new agreements to invest in startups. The total investment amount exceeded $1 million. Among them:
A unique e-commerce project, Prometei.kz, with a super-app concept for anyone looking to try their hand at selling on marketplaces. The product combines the most important tools — supplier contacts, financing options, and B2B installment plans, the ability to create online stores with your own brand, and promotion across eight major marketplaces in the region. The investment agreement signing ceremony took place at the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
During the Central Eurasian Venture Forum in Almaty, an agreement was signed with Epsilon3.ai, a platform for generating synthetic data to train AI models. This technology enables the management and analysis of large datasets from the finance, healthcare, and social security sectors, allowing for forecasting and data-driven decisions regarding funding across various industries.
Porte.tech, a service for automating hotel management, which is also actively expanding in Saudi Arabia. This solution significantly simplifies and automates check-in and check-out procedures, reduces staff workload, and makes hotels and hostels more flexible for customers. Porte founder, Aidana Aytuarova, won first place in the startup battle at the Inmerge Kazakhstan forum.
At the BakuID international forum, an investment in Clopos was announced — a restaurant POS system designed to simplify business management. This project from Azerbaijan helps food service owners manage sales, staff, inventory, and finances anytime and anywhere.
Another project from Azerbaijan, Push30, has already become a portfolio company of the fund and received follow-on investments in June to expand into international markets. Push30 is one of the graduates of Al-Farabi Scale Up 1.0 in Saudi Arabia. Currently, the startup is actively scaling across the MENA region.
Additionally, White Hill Capital is currently actively supporting the startup Xpence, one of the most successful FinTech projects in Saudi Arabia, in opening local offices in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, hiring local teams, and scaling across Central Asia.
These deals are a logical continuation of Tumar VC’s strategy to support ambitious tech companies with international potential. The fund demonstrates that a systematic approach, quality management, and international partnerships can deliver stable and scalable results.
Tumar VC is managed by White Hill Capital, which also includes the Al-Farabi Innovation Hub in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, supported by Astana Hub and IT Park Uzbekistan. The group invests in promising projects at early stages and helps them scale into foreign markets, primarily in Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the Middle East.
Over the past year, on average, most portfolio startups increased their valuation by 1.5 to 2 times, while projects with final valuations four and five times higher showed the greatest growth. The minimum final MOIC increased by 2.1 times, and the maximum by 2.4 times. Among the fund’s most successful portfolio companies are graduates of the Google for Startups program.
The Tumar Venture Fund was established in 2021 as part of the “Stimulating Productive Innovations” project, supported by the World Bank and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
