NVIDIA launches production of Blackwell AI chips and supercomputers in the US: chips are manufactured at TSMC facilities in Arizona, while assembly is carried out by partners Foxconn (Houston) and Wistron (Dallas) in Texas. Mass production will begin in 12–15 months, utilizing more than 100,000 square meters of space. Over the next four years, the company plans to invest up to $500 billion in American infrastructure, also collaborating with Amkor and SPIL.
NVIDIA has announced the launch of AI supercomputer manufacturing in the United States. This marks the first time that NVIDIA equipment will be fully produced domestically.
Together with manufacturing partners, NVIDIA has allocated over 100,000 square meters of production space for the fabrication of NVIDIA Blackwell chips in Arizona and the assembly of AI supercomputers in Texas.
Blackwell chip production has already begun at TSMC facilities in Phoenix, Arizona. New production lines are being built in Texas: Foxconn in Houston and Wistron in Dallas. Mass production at these sites will start within the next 12–15 months.
Since the production of AI chips and supercomputers requires advanced packaging, assembly, and testing technologies, NVIDIA is collaborating with Amkor and SPIL to carry out these operations in Arizona.
Over the next four years, the company plans to produce up to $500 billion worth of AI infrastructure in the United States, strengthening partnerships with TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor, and SPIL. This will not only strengthen the supply chain but also create hundreds of thousands of jobs and ensure trillions of dollars in economic security over the coming decades.
For the first time, the engines of global AI infrastructure will be built within the United States. Launching domestic production will help meet the growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers more quickly, strengthen the supply chain, and enhance its reliability.
To design and manage manufacturing facilities, NVIDIA will leverage its own artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital twin technologies—including NVIDIA Omniverse for creating digital replicas of factories and NVIDIA Isaac GR00T for automating production using robots.
