VK Cloud launches a machine learning platform in Kazakhstan

At the VK Cloud Nomad Fest conference held on May 29 in Almaty, VK Tech presented the Cloud ML Platform — a platform for end-to-end ML development and collaboration among Data teams. The solution will enable rapid data experimentation and ML model training in the cloud. VK Cloud users in Kazakhstan will be able to work with machine learning without the need to set up environments or manage infrastructure.

The Cloud ML Platform is a ready-to-use solution with pre-configured environments for working with ML models and various types of data. Users can independently select the required configuration and adjust the platform's computing power. Round-the-clock support and documentation are available to address any questions. Platform components include: JupyterHub, MLflow + JupyterHub, MLflow Deploy, and Cloud Spark.

VK Cloud's data center is located in Kazakhstan. The platform and servers for machine learning are fully localized in compliance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Personal Data and Its Protection." Therefore, the solution can be used by companies that handle customers' personal data. All payments for platform usage are made in tenge.
