How It All Began
I have been creating and developing software products for over 10 years, and I started my IT career at Green White Solutions (GWS), where the idea for our startup was first born.
In 2018, serving as a Team Lead and senior developer at GWS, I worked with the team on a project for the Makro supermarket chain, which employs over 4,000 people. We faced significant challenges: unautomated processes, high labor costs for routine tasks, and errors in payroll calculations.
We developed a system that automated the entire personnel management cycle—from hiring to termination.
Key features included:
— automation of personnel records
— time tracking
— integration with access control systems
— an employee training system that automatically suggested certifications and training courses.
Later, we implemented facial recognition technology, creating an attendance control system based on IP cameras. This technology became the foundation for further developments.
In 2019, our experience attracted Samsung, which was facing issues with employee tracking in remote regions. We developed a mobile application that automated time tracking, payroll calculation, and employee absence management. This success demonstrated that such solutions are in demand not only in Uzbekistan but also internationally.
Our director at GWS, Abduqahhor Tashmukhamedov, proposed combining our ideas into a new product. Thus began the story of Verifix, and I took on the role of CEO to bring our concept to life.

Startup Launch
Like any startup, we started with challenges.
1. Juggling two roles.
The initial steps were difficult: we simultaneously worked on projects for GWS and developed Verifix. This diverted resources and slowed progress. It was not until 2022 that we made the strategic decision to focus entirely on Verifix, which became a turning point for the company.
2. Product complexity at the start.
We made the mistake of trying to create an overly complex product at an early stage. As a result, we lost one major client, which served as an important lesson for us. We realized that success lies in creating a minimum viable product and gradually improving it.
3. Building the team.
Our team was formed gradually. In 2022, we began building a full-fledged commercial department, including sales, technical support, customer care, and finally, marketing.
It is important to us that every employee is proactive, responsible, and ambitious. We believe that it is precisely such people who drive our startup forward.
Target Audience
Verifix is aimed at companies with a workforce of 30 or more employees; however, our main focus is on medium and large businesses.
Our key values:
1. 100% accurate time tracking — we integrate with access control systems or provide our own time-tracking solutions.
2. Up to 50% optimization of HR processes — automation of routine tasks and personnel documentation.
3. Up to 10% optimization of the payroll fund — thanks to accurate data and workforce forecasts.

Problems we solve:
— fragmentation of personnel management tools
— difficulties in tracking employees at remote locations
— inefficient HR processes and lack of analytics
— errors in payroll calculations.
Today, we have over 200 partners, and in the last two years, we have grown sixfold.
Incubation Programs
In 2020, we completed acceleration at IT Park Uzbekistan, where we were first introduced to the concept of unit economics. This was an important discovery for us. We realized that a startup is not just about innovation but also about careful management of income and expenses.
Recently, we won the PizzaPitch competition in Tashkent and presented our product at Web Summit 2024 in Lisbon—one of the world's largest technology conferences. This gave us the opportunity to attract the attention of the international community.
Achievements
We have fully focused on developing Verifix. We have built a strong team, including a commercial department, technical support, and marketing.
In the last two years, we have grown more than sixfold.
Our victory at PizzaPitch and participation in Web Summit have strengthened the company's reputation and served as a source of inspiration for the team.
Plans
By the end of the year, we plan to improve internal business processes, strengthen the team, and explore new markets.
We are targeting international markets, especially in Central Asian countries, where business processes and culture are similar. We believe that our product can become an integral part of successful businesses.
