Negotiations are underway for the creation of a Microsoft Azure data center in Kazakhstan

As part of a working visit to the United States, a delegation from the Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Minister Zhaslan Madiev, held a meeting with representatives of Microsoft. The main topics of discussion focused on strengthening cooperation and implementing innovative projects aimed at developing Kazakhstan's digital ecosystem.

Negotiations continued regarding the creation of a Microsoft Azure data center in Kazakhstan. This project aims to develop cloud technology infrastructure, which will positively impact the country's digital transformation.

The possibilities of applying Microsoft's AI to improve government technology services were discussed. Particular attention was paid to issues of ethics and security in the use of AI technologies. Integrating AI solutions can significantly enhance the efficiency and quality of government services, making them more accessible and convenient for citizens.

During the meeting, discussions also covered innovative AI-based solutions, such as Copilot, designed for various platforms, developer tools, and data processing solutions. The integration of these solutions with Microsoft platforms and other client platforms was considered, as well as the use of hybrid clouds to increase flexibility and scalability.

The application of advanced AI solutions from Microsoft will help Kazakhstani companies implement innovations and increase their competitiveness in the global market.

Furthermore, cooperation with Microsoft will provide access to modern tools and technologies, contributing to the development of IT specialists and improving educational programs.
