A new pilot project, Token.uz, has been registered in Uzbekistan.

The Token.uz project is a solution based on a private Ethereum network, isolated from the main network, while employing a second-layer solution, L2, for the Ethereum network called Arbitrum. The initiator of the project was LLC "Unified Integrator — UZINFOCOM".

Arbitrum is a second-layer blockchain built on the Ethereum platform. The Optimistic Rollup technology, which underpins Arbitrum, allows developers to easily launch Ethereum smart contracts and decentralized applications without any modifications, with lower transaction fees and increased throughput.

The goal of creating the platform is to ensure reliable and transparent data storage, as well as to protect information from changes and substitution by third parties, which is provided by the "blockchain" technology. The Token.uz platform can be used both in the public sector and in the private sector.
