A Star Venture program by the EBRD will be launched in Uzbekistan.

On October 24, at the Startup Summit within the framework of ICTWEEK UZBEKISTAN 2023, the launch of the Star Venture program in Uzbekistan was announced. This program from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is aimed at supporting innovative startups.

The Star Venture program from the EBRD is focused on identifying promising innovative startups, providing them with access to expertise and funding. The project will help entrepreneurs develop their businesses by offering consultations on various aspects, including strategy, finance, operations, organization, marketing, and sales.

At least six startups from Uzbekistan are expected to be selected. Companies can represent a wide range of sectors: artificial intelligence development, educational innovations, agrotechnologies, healthcare, cloud computing, and energy-efficient technologies.
