An AI center will be established in Uzbekistan in collaboration with NVIDIA.

The Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan announced the start of cooperation with the American company NVIDIA to implement national initiatives in the field of artificial intelligence.

As part of the partnership, plans include the creation of an AI Excellence Center, training for teachers and specialists, and the integration of NVIDIA technologies into educational and industrial processes.

By 2026, Uzbekistan intends to deploy two artificial intelligence clusters with a total capacity of up to 1 megawatt. One will be used for educational and scientific purposes, while the other will serve government agencies, healthcare, and industry.

In addition, universities in the country will receive NVIDIA supercomputing infrastructure and specialized AI educational programs.

Approximately $3 million is planned to be allocated for the implementation of these initiatives. The launch of the industrial AI Excellence Center is scheduled for 2026.

According to Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies, cooperation with NVIDIA will be an important step in developing the national AI ecosystem and will enable the integration of advanced global technologies into Uzbekistan's digital development strategy.
