An AI Center of Excellence will be established in Uzbekistan as part of a collaboration with Plug and Play.

IT Park Uzbekistan and the international innovation platform Plug and Play Tech Center have signed a memorandum on strategic cooperation for a period of three years. The document provides for the launch of joint acceleration programs, development of projects in the field of artificial intelligence, and the creation of an AI Center of Excellence—a center of excellence that will bring together companies, universities, and government structures to implement AI technologies.

The parties also plan to train specialists, attract international investors, and support startups, which should accelerate the growth of Uzbekistan's technological ecosystem and strengthen its position in the global innovation market.
