The number of IT park residents has reached 1,700, with 26,000 people employed in them. Under the "Uzbekistan–2030" Strategy, it is planned to increase the number of residents tenfold and boost exports to $5 billion. To achieve this, the Zero Risk program is being implemented, providing free state-owned facilities and equipment for one year. Additionally, the "Digital Inclusion" project is being carried out, which will create 9,000 jobs for young people, women, and persons with disabilities, thereby providing employment for a total of 25,000 people.
Currently, the number of IT park residents has reached 1,700, with 26,000 people employed in them. The Strategy "Uzbekistan–2030" provides for a tenfold increase in the number of residents, up to 100,000 jobs, as well as increasing the volume of exports in the industry to $5 billion.
To this end, the Zero Risk program is proposed, aimed at widely attracting IT service exporting organizations to the regions. Participating enterprises will be provided with unused state-owned properties free of charge for up to one year, based on the IT park's recommendation. After this period, a direct lease agreement will be concluded. Additionally, the IT park will provide equipment and machinery for free use for up to one year.
The presentation also included information on the "digital inclusion" project. Under this initiative, youth, women, and people with disabilities will be trained in IT service skills. It is planned to create 9,000 jobs, including providing employment for approximately 5,000 women and people with disabilities.
Overall, as a result of the "digital inclusion" project, it is expected to provide employment for 25,000 people.
