From November 24 to 26, the regional hackathon Hack4DigitalVillages was held at the Fergana branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
244 people submitted applications, from which 103 were selected.
Based on the jury's evaluations, five teams won the hackathon:
First place. Team Everest with the project Smart Greenhouse. Their idea is to automate processes in greenhouses using a system of automatic ventilation, irrigation, and heating, controlled remotely via a smartphone.
Second place. Team GreenSpring with a project for remote monitoring of gardens, greenhouses, and fields, measuring soil conditions and all parameters through a mobile app.
Third place. Team Curved with the project Green Guardia — managing data on planting and harvesting, IoT telemetry data, and photographing plants for diagnostics, which will help lower the entry barrier for beginner farmers.
Fourth place. Team RoboGroup with a project for remote monitoring of temperature and humidity in greenhouses.
Fifth place. Team Upgrade with the project Smart Farm — artificial intelligence combined with soil sensors that can perform complex analyses with just a few clicks.
