In Uzbekistan, banks and the Ministry of Digital Technologies are jointly conducting pitch sessions for startups.

A meeting took place between AloqaVentures and IT Park, where representatives discussed measures to develop the startup ecosystem, principles of venture investing, and how startup projects benefit banks. Recommendations were also provided on integrating innovative products into the banking sector.

The goal of the meeting was to introduce the banking sector to the dynamics of venture and startup ecosystem development in Uzbekistan.

The AloqaVentures venture fund was established in 2021 by Aloqabank, an joint-stock commercial bank, with the aim of investing in innovative and promising startup projects. The fund's activities are focused on creating modern technological solutions in collaboration with companies, startup projects, and their partners, achieving global success, and becoming a leader in digital transformation.

During the meeting, guests were also presented with information about the IT Park's activities, opportunities created for resident companies, and ongoing efforts to further increase IT exports.
