IT Park Uzbekistan, the Fund for the Development of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan, and WIUT have launched a Creative Incubator to foster an ecosystem for creative industries. Out of 79 submitted projects, 15 startups were selected to participate in the support program. The winner of the logo design competition was 19-year-old designer Sardor Abdusamiev.
During the opening ceremony, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, the Fund for the Development of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan, and WIUT emphasized the importance of the initiative for building an ecosystem of creative industries in the country. The Creative Incubator will become a hub for talented designers, developers, animators, entrepreneurs, and other creative professionals.
The Creative Incubator provides young specialists and startups with all the necessary resources to develop their ideas:
— educational programs and masterclasses with international and local experts
— startup competitions with financial support for winners
— intensive training sessions and visits to leading companies
— Pitch Contest, where participants can present their projects to investors.
A total of 79 projects were submitted for participation in the Creative Incubator. From these, 15 best projects were selected to receive support under the incubation program. These startups will be able to develop their ideas, participate in educational programs, and work with mentors to take their projects to the next level.
A key moment of the opening ceremony was the awarding of the winner of the Logo Contest — a competition for the best logo for the Creative Incubator. The contest attracted a large number of participants who presented their creative ideas. As a result, the winning logo was recognized as the one that best reflects the mission and values of the Creative Incubator. The author of the winning design, a talented 19-year-old freelance designer, Sardor Abdusamiev, received commemorative prizes, and his work will become the official visual symbol of the project.
