5G coverage will be launched in Tashkent

According to Speedtest Intelligence, Ucell has been recognized as the best mobile operator in Uzbekistan for data network speed in the first half of 2024.

In order to ensure 5G coverage across the country from 2024 to 2029, as well as significantly improve user experience and data speeds, especially in areas with high concentrations of people such as popular shopping malls, major hotels, airports, and so on, Ucell has set these goals.

Ucell is implementing its 5G network development strategy in regions where Huawei is the vendor, in partnership with a proven partner that has been operating in Uzbekistan for 25 years. Together, they have made significant contributions to Ucell's progress toward 5G.

For indoor 5G network construction in these regions, Ucell has selected the Huawei LampSite X solution, which offers the highest level of industry integration and simplifies deployment for all indoor coverage scenarios. The pRRU5755GR module supports all mobile communication technologies, including 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, and NB-IoT. Compared to traditional 4T4R indoor coverage solutions, the LampSite X solution with innovative Distributed Massive MIMO functionality can increase network capacity by four times.
