The "Elkart Mobile" app has implemented remote verification based on VisionLabs technologies.

The Kyrgyz payment system “Elkart” has launched remote facial biometric verification in its mobile app, powered by VisionLabs technologies, one of the world leaders in biometric identification and machine learning.

Now, confirming transactions in the mobile app takes only a fraction of a second — simply look into the camera, and the facial recognition technology will verify the user’s identity. This new solution enhances service security and eliminates the possibility of fraudulent transfers.

VisionLabs’ OneShot Liveness protection for biometric systems determines whether a live person is in front of the camera, rather than a printed photo, a screen image, or a 3D mask used for spoofing attempts. The verification takes less than a second, is imperceptible to users, and does not require special equipment or additional actions from the user.
