In Bishkek, MBANK held a major presentation where it showcased innovative digital solutions for banking and everyday services. The highlight of the event was the introduction of the MPay technology, which allows users to make purchases using their mobile phones without an internet connection. To complete a payment, it is sufficient to enable Bluetooth on the device and bring the phone close to an MKassa terminal or another smartphone. The payment is processed instantly, without the involvement of intermediaries. During the demonstration, guests were able to see the system in action: they made purchases with the network completely turned off, and the payments were successfully completed.
In addition to MPay, MBANK presented several other digital services:
— MTravel — a service for booking airline tickets and tourist tours with the option of installment payments for up to 12 months. According to the bank, the service's share of the tourist services market has reached 60%.
— MCafe — a solution for paying for orders in cafes via QR codes, featuring group payment functionality and analytics for businesses, which helps optimize the service and accounting processes.
— AI Assistant MBANK — a generative artificial intelligence that supports Kyrgyz and Russian languages. Over the course of a year, the assistant has handled more than 2.7 million inquiries, helping bank customers receive quick answers to their questions and process services.
— MInvest — an investment platform where users can buy shares of major global companies, such as Apple or Microsoft, as well as trade cryptocurrencies. The minimum entry threshold for the service is $1, making investments accessible to a wide audience.
The MPay technology is already available to users nationwide and serves as a convenient tool for everyday payments. The bank plans to continue developing its digital services to make financial transactions as fast and secure as possible for citizens.
