In Kazakhstan, they explained how Starlink internet will help schools

Details have emerged regarding the connection of rural schools in Kazakhstan to the internet via Elon Musk. His company SpaceX is developing the Starlink satellite system, through which 10 schools in Kazakhstan already have access to the internet.

Now, in schools that previously lacked access, students have the opportunity to receive additional lessons and access the internet just like urban students. Another advantage of connecting via Starlink is that the cost will not exceed the schools' current internet expenses. In most cases, it will even be cheaper.

In pilot mode, Starlink internet is operational in the schools of the villages Koktal, Kuigan, Karaoi, Zhinishke, Ereul, Kensu, Sarykol, Taldy, Karagaily, and Maishukur.

Three reasons for choosing Starlink:

— availability for remote regions

— high speed

— development of digital infrastructure.
