Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Olzhas Bektengov, a meeting of the Digital Headquarters was held, during which measures were discussed to implement the tasks outlined by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his Address "Kazakhstan in the Age of Artificial Intelligence." The main focus was on creating a unified digital ecosystem, developing creative industries, and supporting IT startups.
A decision was made to expand the list of priority areas of activity for the International Technology Park of IT Startups Astana Hub. These will include multimedia, design, publishing in the gaming sector, esports, as well as business process outsourcing and English language training. This will strengthen the park's position and attract more international participants.
Additionally, state bodies have been instructed to stop creating separate mobile applications. All government services will be integrated into the eGov and Aitu platforms, ensuring users convenient access to services in a single digital space.
Furthermore, rules for the distribution of computing power at the Alem.cloud supercomputer center have been approved. They define a transparent procedure for accessing resources for startups, universities, research organizations, and both state and private entities. The use of Alem.cloud will be aimed at developing artificial intelligence in key sectors such as education, healthcare, industry, energy, transportation, and other areas.
The adopted decisions are aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of Kazakhstan and strengthening the country's technological sovereignty.
