A cybersecurity tournament for government officials took place in Kazakhstan.

At the end of last year, the Qazaq Cybersport Federation held a cyber sports tournament for government officials, the QAZAQSTAN QYZMET CUP. The cyber sports tournament among government officials and employees of quasi-public sector organizations has been held since mid-2021. Participants compete in the FC24 discipline — the most popular football simulator on the Sony PlayStation 5 platform. As is traditional, the tournament took place in a full-scale format: from online qualifiers within government institutions and national companies to grand finals in LAN mode.

A total of 15 government officials participated in the tournament. Shymyrbek Daulet, an employee of JSC "Institute of Economic Research," won the tournament. The second place was taken by a representative of the State Technical Service, and Aydyn Zholdasym, an employee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took third place.
