In Almaty, a portable neuro-amplifier based on the Lerna EdTech platform has been installed in the MegaPark and Dostyk Plaza shopping centers. The device reads electroencephalograms through a headband, measuring the individual frequency of the alpha peak (7–13 Hz). Based on this indicator, predisposition to certain professions is determined: low frequencies indicate creative abilities, while high frequencies suggest a tendency toward technical specialties.
Residents of Almaty now have the opportunity to discover their professional inclinations thanks to technology. A portable neuro-amplifier has been installed at the locations of the EdTech platform Lerna in the MegaPark and Dostyk Plaza shopping centers.
The new technologies operate based on the brain's electrical activity, which allows for the measurement of behavioral patterns. Participants are invited to undergo an interview with a specialist and take a test using a neurointerface—a headband that reads the electroencephalogram (EEG). During the process, the individual frequency of the alpha peak is measured. This is a genetically innate feature of human brain activity. In different people, it is recorded in the range of 7 to 13 Hz and serves as an individual behavioral pattern, on the basis of which one can draw conclusions about predispositions to various types of professions.
People who exhibit lower frequencies in the alpha range tend to approach problem-solving creatively, engaging their creative thinking. Those with higher frequencies are accustomed to rational thinking and are more likely to prefer technical professions.
