The INMerge Uzbekistan Innovation Summit took place in Tashkent for the first time. The event, which became an important milestone for bringing together leaders in innovation, startup ecosystems, and venture capital, gathered key players from across the region to exchange experience and build new cross-border connections. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan and PASHA Holding with the support of the Fintech Association of Uzbekistan, the event once again confirmed the country's role as a reliable partner and driver of large-scale innovations for Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the Middle East.
Key highlights included startup pitches and substantive panel discussions, as well as the signing of a memorandum of understanding between PashaPay and the Fintech Association of Uzbekistan. All activities reflect a common commitment to developing FinTech, supporting entrepreneurs, and expanding the boundaries of technological cooperation.
The official opening of the event was carried out by Abdulokhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, and Tugra Musayeva, Director of Innovation at PASHA Holding.
A key outcome of the meeting was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between PashaPay and the Fintech Association of Uzbekistan. This step symbolizes the parties' commitment to jointly developing the FinTech sector, supporting startups, and expanding entrepreneurial ecosystems both within the country and beyond. The document lays the foundation for exchanging experience, implementing joint projects, and bringing new FinTech solutions to regional and global markets.
The event concluded with a startup pitch competition, during which 10 early-stage projects presented their ideas to a jury consisting of investors and industry experts. Participants included startups such as Mulk Protocol, LaCafe, SOFF.UZ, InnTouch, Exode.biz, Karmon AI, PromptLab, Moliy.AI, Azma Finance, and Aisha AI. The winner of the competition was PromptLab — an AI agent for procurement, which will represent Uzbekistan at INMerge Baku 2025. The team will gain access to international investors and compete for a share of the $30,000 prize fund at the main stage of INBattle.
The global innovation summit INMerge, organized by PASHA Holding, will take place in Baku on September 29–30, 2025, and will bring together over 1,000 founders, investors, corporate leaders, and politicians from more than 30 countries. Over two days, the summit will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, startup competitions, and extensive networking opportunities aimed at promoting innovation, attracting investment, and strengthening interregional cooperation in the Caspian region and Central Asia.
