An AI hackathon took place at AUCA

From August 4 to 6, a landmark event took place at the campus of the American University in Central Asia — the first hackathon in Kyrgyzstan focused on generative artificial intelligence. This three-day event brought together numerous participants who worked on creating their first AI products. The event also featured guest speakers who are experts in IT and artificial intelligence.

Over the course of three days, participants worked on their projects. Each team was assigned a mentor who provided guidance throughout the hackathon, offering technical advice, conducting brainstorming sessions, and helping to resolve issues that arose during development.

On the final day, participants presented their projects to the jury. Each team showcased an AI-based product, demonstrating its capabilities and potential target audience.

The winning teams were:

— First place — Agro AI Team

— Second place — ALGA AI Team

— Third place — Ctrl + Alt + Elite Team.

The hackathon concluded with an awards ceremony. Participants were recognized for their dedication and creativity and were awarded cash prizes and certificates.
