In Astana, a 10G network will be implemented with the participation of Huawei and "Astana Innovations"

On June 16, the second forum on industrial and investment cooperation “China – Central Asia” took place in the capital of Kazakhstan. Within its framework, Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan and JSC “Astana Innovations” signed a memorandum of understanding, which opens a new direction of cooperation in the field of digital technologies and telecommunications.

The first step will be the demonstration launch of Huawei’s 10G network in Astana. This solution will serve as the foundation for the emergence of next-generation services, ensure high connection speeds, resilience of digital infrastructure, and create a basis for the development of smart city solutions.

The project is implemented with the support of the Astana Digitalization and Public Services Department. Such cooperation opens up opportunities for sustainable digital infrastructure, strengthening Kazakhstan’s position in the global technology agenda, and scaling innovations at the city level.
