In Astana, industrial zones are planned to be built, which should attract major players such as Google, Netflix, Amazon, and Yandex to the Kazakhstani market. These zones will serve as the infrastructure foundation for localizing large data centers.

These measures were discussed during public hearings at the Maslikhat. Astana Hub is currently focused on the soft industry, but there is a growing need to develop infrastructure. In this regard, industrial zones will be created in the city to accommodate large data centers, which is expected to attract international corporations.

Additionally, there is active growth in the logistics sector in Astana, leading to a shortage of available space. To address this issue, a new logistics park will be established as a separate industrial zone with economic preferences in the Astana-Karaganda highway area.

More than 100 projects are expected to be housed in the park, with total investments amounting to 150 billion tenge.
