The National Forum of GCIP will take place in Astana

On December 12, 2024, Astana will host one of the most anticipated events of the year in the field of green technologies and innovations — the National GCIP Kazakhstan Forum. This forum will serve as the finale of a large-scale UNIDO acceleration program, during which participants will present their breakthrough environmental projects. The winners will not only receive a grant of 3 million tenge but also the opportunity to represent Kazakhstan at a global competition in Istanbul.

The forum will become a hub for exchanging ideas, experience, and networking among key figures in ecology, innovation, and business. Among the invited guests are investors, business leaders, representatives of international venture funds, the IT community, and government structures. The event is organized by the NAO "International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects" with the support of UNIDO.

Key events of the GCIP 2024 Forum:

— Final startup pitches: the best green startups from Kazakhstan, having undergone training from international experts and mentors, will present their projects to the jury and investors. The five most promising projects will receive monetary grants and a ticket to the global finale
— Investor Connect: a unique opportunity for startups to meet with investors and corporate partners. This is a chance to attract investments and establish new business contacts for further growth
— Presentation of the Cleantech Group research: for the first time, the results of an authoritative analysis of Kazakhstan's innovation ecosystem will be presented, demonstrating prospects and challenges in the field of green technologies
— Business game "UN Summit": participants will be able to take on the roles of international delegates and conduct negotiations on climate change issues, just like at a real UN summit.

The GCIP Kazakhstan 2024 Forum is not just an event; it is a platform for shaping the future of Kazakhstan's and Central Asia's green economy.
