The third meetup of the ArchConnect IT Architects community took place in Astana.
Author - Mansur Ismagulov
The IT architects of Kazakhstan ArchConnect x Allur, bringing together more than 150 professionals in the field of digital transformation, data architecture, and corporate IT solutions.
The central topic of discussion was one of the key issues of today — data. How to bring order to fragmented systems, how to build a unified information space where data becomes an asset rather than a source of errors, and how to design IT architecture that truly works.
The event program featured three practical cases:
— Kazakhstani automotive company Allur "Solving the Problem of Information Chaos." A case study on building data architecture in one of the country's largest automotive companies. The discussion covered issues such as the lack of end-to-end processes, information gaps, and methods for addressing them at the architectural level.
— IT company TargetAI "Data Analytics in SmartCity." Demonstration of big data architecture in urban projects, showing how digital sensors and platforms are used to develop solutions for managing urban infrastructure and transportation.
— ForteBank "Data Governance Architecture: How to Manage, Not Just Store." Approaches to implementing Data Governance principles, creating the role of data owner, clarifying responsibilities, and increasing trust in analytics within the company.
ArchConnect is a professional community of IT architects in Kazakhstan, established in May 2025 by experts Laura Salamati and Rustem Uvaliev with the support of TheTech media. The goal of the community is to unite IT architects, create a platform for sharing experiences, discussing real-world cases, and collaborating on projects.
