A global workshop by Silicon Valley innovation and technology gurus will take place in Astana

In early October, a global workshop led by Silicon Valley innovation and technology gurus will take place in Astana for new business leaders. The event, titled "Exponential Innovations," will be held in Kazakhstan for the first time.

The organizer of the workshop is the worldwide community of top executives YPO. The event will feature a limited training program from the Nobel Festival and YPO Kazakhstan on business transformation.

Professor Vivek Wadhwa is the author and host of the workshop, a global expert in new technologies, entrepreneur, and former Vice President of Singularity University for Innovation. As a leader, Wadhwa took five companies to IPO with a capitalization of several billion dollars. He is a lecturer at Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, and Harvard University.

Speakers will discuss what it takes to compete and thrive in the new innovation era. Organizers will present information on how to build a global corporation, scale a business, which technologies to apply, which niches will be created in the next 10–20 years, and what qualities a new entrepreneur should possess.

The event will take place on October 8–9 at the Saad Astana hotel. Simultaneous translation into Russian and Kazakh will be provided for attendees.
