The Uzum ecosystem plans to issue eurobonds worth $300 million in the first half of 2026 to access the international debt market. At the same time, the company is preparing for a potential IPO in 2027 on stock exchanges in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, or Nasdaq.
In March this year, Uzum issued its first unsecured bonds worth 300 billion sum on the Tashkent Stock Exchange through broker Alkes, intended for institutional investors, with the largest stake acquired by a private bank. However, trading volumes in the local market do not match the company's ambitions, so international funding sources are also being considered.
Jasur Jumayev, co-founder and head of the Uzum group of companies, noted at the Tashkent International Investment Forum that measures to attract liquidity could be implemented in the next two to three years, including strategic partnerships or global alliances, in addition to an IPO. In August, the company raised $70 million from Tencent and VR Capital, which increased the valuation of its ecosystem to approximately $1.5 billion.
These funds will be directed toward the development of FinTech infrastructure, expansion of e-commerce services, and strengthening positions in online trading and financial technology markets.
