Uzbek startups presented their projects in Washington

The “Uzbekistan Startup Founders Meetup — Washington 2025” took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Washington, D.C. The event was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan, aiming to unite the international community of Uzbek startups—founders, innovators, and IT specialists from the United States, including members of the Uzbek diaspora.

The main goal of the meeting was to exchange ideas, explore collaboration opportunities, and strengthen ties between compatriots abroad and Uzbekistan’s rapidly growing innovation ecosystem. Participants included startup founders and co-founders, tech entrepreneurs, investors, and experts connected to the IT sector and innovations in Uzbekistan.

Key topics discussed during the meeting included strengthening interaction between the Uzbek diaspora in the U.S. and representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Uzbekistan, identifying the needs and challenges faced by Uzbek startups abroad, exploring ways for the diaspora to support startups and innovations in Uzbekistan, and building a sustainable global network of Uzbek tech entrepreneurs and professionals.

The event format included open dialogue with representatives of the Ministry and IT Park Uzbekistan, group discussions, experience sharing, and networking, enabling participants to establish contacts, discuss collaboration prospects, and share successful startup development cases.

The event marked an important step toward integrating Uzbek startups into the international community, strengthening cooperation between entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and the United States, and promoting innovations on a global scale.
