Uzbekistan and Meta strengthen cooperation in the field of digital technologies

The Meta company delegation, led by Vice President for Government Affairs in Asia and the Pacific Region Simon Milner, visited IT Park Uzbekistan.

During the visit, guests were presented with a detailed presentation on the activities of IT Park Uzbekistan, its established ecosystem, promising projects, as well as the conditions created for investors. Following this, the delegation also familiarized themselves with the activities of the UzSoc Center, where detailed information was provided on the measures implemented in the field of information security, content monitoring in social networks, and other key areas.

In the main part of the visit, the delegation met with Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies. During the negotiations, prospects for bilateral cooperation, content policy issues, youth potential development, artificial intelligence, the digital economy, and ensuring security in social networks were discussed.

As a result of the meeting, it was emphasized that the visit would serve as a significant step in the development of open dialogue and strengthening of strategic partnership between Meta and the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
