Requirements for informatization in the field of education have been approved in Kazakhstan.

The Minister of Education approved the minimum requirements for informatization facilities in the field of education by order dated November 14, 2022.
According to the document, the digital learning management system in schools must include:

— formation of a student's digital profile: attendance and performance journal, homework, certificates, diplomas, grades, schedule, olympiads, career guidance

— formation of a teacher's digital profile

— management of students (contingent) and teachers (staff)

— monitoring of the educational process

— creation of custom lessons for teachers, and so on.

It is anticipated that digital educational resources in secondary education institutions, including special and specialized education, will contain a catalog of digital lessons and materials for all subjects of the current curriculum in both Kazakh and Russian languages.

Educational materials consist of video lessons, audio materials, visual images, and notes that correspond to standard curricula for general education subjects.

Similar digital educational resources are also provided for other subjects, including literature, English, French, and German, as well as virtual simulators or video laboratory experiments for subjects such as natural sciences, physics, chemistry, and biology.

Additionally, sign language interpretation must be available for children with hearing impairments, and audio narration must be provided for children with visual impairments.
