Telegram will become a video platform

Telegram has taken an important step toward becoming a full-fledged video platform.

Previously, videos in Telegram channels were displayed exactly as they were uploaded, which often forced users to download large amounts of data just to watch a short clip.

Now, thanks to the update, Telegram servers will compress popular videos and offer them in various quality options optimized for online viewing. The app will automatically select the best video quality based on your internet speed.

This will make watching videos on Telegram much simpler and more convenient. The October update also added other useful features that make the messenger even more functional.
