Techstars Startup Weekend Central Asia brings together startup enthusiasts in Tashkent

Techstars Startup Weekend Central Asia is taking place in Tashkent, serving as a unifying platform for innovation in the heart of Central Asia. The event is expanding its reach to cover the entire Central Asian region.

At the event, participants will have the opportunity to present their startup ideas and form teams around the most promising ones.

On the first day of the hackathon, participants will receive instructions on the event program and present their startup ideas to attract other participants to their team within one minute. The authors of the 10 ideas that receive the most votes will form a team and begin working on the presented idea.

The second day of the hackathon will be crucial for participants, as there will be workshops on MVP and hypothesis testing. After the workshops, they will go out to test their ideas and create prototypes. Teams will also work together with various startup industry leaders.

On the third and final day of the event, teams will finalize their presentations and submit them to the judges. The judges will evaluate the teams based on three criteria: best hypothesis validation, best business model, and best market potential. The top 3 startups with the highest scores across all criteria will be awarded prizes.
