Sports programming will be included in the Republican List of Priority Sports in Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan have signed a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation in the field of competitive programming. The goal of this cooperation is to promote competitive programming among young people and include it in the Republican list of priority sports.

The parties agreed to jointly develop this discipline through the integration of educational programs, organizing competitions and events aimed at attracting young specialists to the IT sector. In addition, plans are in place to create conditions for attracting investments and resources for the development of competitive programming infrastructure in Kazakhstan.

The Memorandum also provides for the development of joint initiatives to support educational institutions and strengthen human capital in the IT sector.
