Shamal 2023 and Jolbors Festival will hold an Invest Day for startups and investors

Until May 29, startups can submit their projects for consideration to participate in Invest Day.

Shamal 2023 is the largest five-day networking event for entrepreneurs. The event will take place on July 7 and will provide a unique opportunity for startups to present their projects to investors, as well as receive valuable feedback from experienced entrepreneurs.

The selection of projects for Invest Day takes place in several stages:

— until May 29, startups can submit their projects for consideration by posting them on the website; to apply, you need to fill out a questionnaire and upload a presentation

— in the second stage, which will take place from May 30 to June 4, the organizing committee will check the projects for compliance with the criteria

— applications will be sent for evaluation by an expert commission, which will include representatives of accelerators and venture funds from Central Asia; from June 5 to 16, experts will select a shortlist of the most promising projects

— nine of the best startups will be selected for the final. On July 7, during Shamal 2023, teams will present their business projects to investors. Each project will have three minutes for their presentation.

Selection criteria for participation in Invest Day:

— market growth potential. For participation, startups at the early stage are accepted — business projects aimed at scaling, which plan to attract investments for project development in the amount of up to $500,000

— uniqueness of technologies. A mandatory condition for participation is the use of IT in the project

— a solid and convincing business model that will show a plan for business growth and return on investment

— a strong team.
