At CES 2024, Samsung announced new projectors: the Premiere 8K, Premiere 5, Premiere 7, and Premiere 9. All models will feature the Lightwarp function and a gaming hub. The Premiere 8K is the first wireless 8K projector, while the Premiere 5 is described as the most compact ultra-short-throw laser projector. The Premiere 7 and 9 are equipped with the Quantum 4K processor.
The feature is called Lightwarp and is included in the new Premiere 8K and Premiere 5 projectors, both of which were announced at CES 2024.
At CES 2024, the company offers four new Premiere models to choose from, and while the Premiere 8K and Premiere 5 are the two most interesting, the entire lineup this year will receive a feature called Lightwarp, which turns any object or surface into an interactive one.
The entire 2024 Samsung projector lineup will also feature the company's gaming hub. This will allow access to thousands of games without a console. All four can be used as smart speakers without needing to rotate the screen projection.
Samsung calls the new Premiere 5 a "versatile" model. The company describes it as "the world's most compact triple-laser ultra-short-throw projector, with a tape height of 7.9 inches, width of 5.4 inches, and depth of 5.4 inches."
At the top of the lineup is the Premiere 8K. This device is the first 8K projector with the ability to wirelessly connect to devices.
The Premiere 7 and Premiere 9 are continuations of the current Premiere LSP7T and LSP9T models. Both of these short-throw projectors will provide brighter projection and are equipped with a Quantum 4K processor.
