Samsung has taken foldable devices to a new level with the introduction of the Galaxy Z TriFold, a smartphone that folds into three parts and unfolds to reveal a full 10-inch screen. The device combines the form factors of a phone, tablet, and mini workstation.
The Galaxy Z TriFold is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 5600 mAh battery—the largest battery capacity ever featured in a Samsung foldable model. In its unfolded state, users can run up to three apps simultaneously, and Samsung DeX mode transforms the device into a workstation with support for a keyboard, mouse, and external monitor.
The main camera features a 200 MP sensor with optical image stabilization. The smartphone also supports 45 W fast charging and wireless technologies.
Sales will begin on December 12 in South Korea, with the Galaxy Z TriFold later launching on international markets.
Starting price: ~$2500.
