Samsung will open an IT school in the Kostanay region

The launch of the IT school is scheduled for September 2024. The project is being implemented as part of the global social and educational program Samsung Innovation Campus, aimed at training young specialists in in-demand areas of the IT industry. The owner of the school will be the South Korean company Samsung Electronics. In December 2022, by order of the regional leadership, an agreement was signed with Samsung representatives to open this school on the basis of Qostanai IT Hub. Training will be conducted in modern programming languages, artificial intelligence, and skills for working with neural networks.

The school will become a new stage of development for the IT community. There are 370 IT companies in the region, and the region is actively demonstrating results in digital transformation. Investments in the deployment of high-speed internet networks and expanding access to digital technologies in the regions of the area are increasing, strategic agreements are being concluded with leading digital companies and organizations.

One of the bright startup projects is ai.tomaton — an artificial intelligence-based system for training and implementing virtual employees. Currently, the project has entered the top 25 of Startup Garage-2024 from Astana Hub. To date, the export volume for the project has amounted to $10,000.
