The development of STEAM education was discussed at a conference in Astana

Current issues in the development of STEAM education were discussed at the republican scientific-practical conference in Astana. More than 300 educators and representatives of non-profit organizations participated in the event.

Throughout the day, participants explored various case studies related to the main areas of STEAM education. The plenary session featured presentations by heads of educational institutions and representatives of UNICEF in Kazakhstan.

To ensure the successful development of STEAM education, schools in Kazakhstan are being provided with material and technical resources. In 2023 alone, over a thousand schools were equipped with specialized laboratories for chemistry, physics, biology, STEM, and robotics. This year, plans include acquiring more than 1,200 additional specialized laboratories.
