Razer has announced the launch of the new Razer PC Remote Play platform — a service for streaming games from a personal computer to mobile devices. The solution allows users to run games on their PC and stream them to a smartphone or tablet while maintaining high image quality and frame rates.
The platform supports streaming at the maximum resolution and refresh rate available on a specific mobile device. This distinguishes it from other services that limit image parameters to fixed settings.
Connection is established using the Razer Cortex app on PC and the Razer Nexus app on smartphones. Players need to log in with the same Razer ID account or use a PIN code to pair devices. Initial connection requires devices to be on the same network, after which gameplay can continue via Wi-Fi or mobile internet.
Notably, Razer Sensa™ HD Haptics tactile feedback is supported when using the Razer Kishi Ultra controller, but only on Android. This allows for tactile effects synchronized with in-game events.
The service works with most popular platforms — Steam, Epic Games, PC Game Pass, and others. Currently, it supports devices running iOS 18 and Android 14, as well as PCs with Windows 11 and above.
