The Prime Minister has instructed to adopt the Roadmap for the establishment of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a digital hub.

Measures for the further innovative and technological development of Kazakhstan were discussed at a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry, chaired by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.

Special attention was focused on the need to develop a regional ecosystem of technology hubs to engage talented youth in the IT sector.

Additionally, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan to develop a roadmap for establishing Kazakhstan as a digital regional hub.

The program includes the construction of transborder fiber-optic highways in Kazakhstan. These kilometers of cables will connect countries in Europe and East Asia. Data processing centers will be linked to these highways across the country.
