The number of registered users of Azerbaijan’s digital myGov platform has exceeded 2 million, the Agency for Innovations and Digital Development reports. Of these, approximately 800,000 users actively use the platform, regularly accessing various digital services. The platform offers more than 400 services, including issuing criminal record certificates, obtaining family composition information, details on military service, electronic prescriptions, medical test results, and the ability to pay state and utility bills using bank cards.
Among the digital documents most frequently accessed by citizens are identity cards, employment records, driver’s licenses, marriage certificates, and family status documentation. In 2025, requests for digital documents via myGov totaled approximately 2.2 million, double the figure for the same period in the previous year.
The platform’s growing popularity is attributed to the myGov ID feature, which allows users to access government services using a QR code, as well as new tools for managing consent to share personal data and the ability to conduct digital correspondence with government agencies. Additionally, the platform implements “life events” functions, enabling citizens to obtain marriage, birth, or death certificates through the digital service without the need for in-person visits to government institutions.
The myGov platform continues to expand its range of services, making the process of obtaining state and municipal services as convenient and accessible as possible for the population, as evidenced by the steadily increasing number of registered and active users.
