Yandex Search makes content from around the world more accessible in the Kazakh language.

Yandex Search has begun displaying English and Russian articles with neural network translation into Kazakh. The number of useful materials in the national language has increased by more than 15 million.

The internet contains a vast amount of foreign content. For example, there are over 7,000,000 articles in English on Wikipedia, while only 240,000 are available in Kazakh. Now, Search will display foreign articles for queries in Kazakh and translate them immediately. A link to the original language materials will be available alongside them.

Articles from Russian and English resources are translated by a neural network trained to take context into account. This way, users will be able to get even more useful answers in Search.
