Ozon launched direct sales in Uzbekistan

Ozon begins selling goods in Uzbekistan.

Residents of the republic have access to a wide range of products in more than 20 categories — from books and clothing to groceries.

Orders can be placed from any region and picked up at partner pickup points or at Uzpost branches. The company estimates the average delivery time for goods to be 12 days.

Starting in 2024, the marketplace will begin developing its own logistics infrastructure, creating warehouses and a delivery service. At the same time, the expansion of the network of order pickup and delivery points under the Ozon brand through franchising will continue.

Company specialists, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will conduct training for local entrepreneurs. Ozon plans to participate in improving the regulation of e-commerce and the development of cross-border trade.
