Applications are now open for Startup Garage

Astana Hub opens applications for the fourth cohort of the Startup Garage incubation program, aimed at supporting early-stage startups. The program is focused on IT projects at the idea or product development stage. Founders over 18 years old from Kazakhstan and neighboring countries can apply.

To participate, applicants need a certificate of completion from the educational course Startup Academy, an Individual Identification Number (IIN), and an electronic digital signature key. Candidate selection will take place in two stages: screening — verifying project compliance with criteria, and diagnostics — expert evaluation of the project based on interviews.

As part of the program, weekly workshops and lectures will be held, where investors and founders of IT companies will share insights about the market. Trackers will help participants test hypotheses, implement strategic decisions, and scale projects. Regular traction meetings, board meetings, and mastermind sessions will also take place.

Over three months, participants will study key aspects of creating and developing a tech business. They will gain practical skills in idea validation, learn Lean Startup, HADI, and SMART methodologies, master market analysis principles, NoCode development, effective product presentation, and understand the basics of business registration, financial planning, and working with investors. Upon completion of the program, they will have a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of running a tech startup, as well as a ready product or prototype and a sales strategy. The best projects will receive PR support.
