A Demo Day was held in Astana for startups that completed the incubation program for game development at the GameDev Center. Seven teams presented their developed games:
- Borsyq Games — a 3D platformer Tale of the Forest Guardian, set in a fantasy forest in a parallel universe
- Team Luminance — a story about a 16-year-old boy named Matthew who finds himself in a time loop in the isometric world of Time-Bounded
- Vanguard with the game Lost Nomad, inspired by Turkic mythology
- ICE EYE with the adventure game Come Undone, a psychological horror with survival and puzzle elements
- Wind City Games — a top-down survival shooter focusing on resource management, LabMadness
- CorgiBites — an exciting Kazakhstani detective game set in the 1970s, Project Red
- Stardust Crusaders — Dust of Past, a rhythm hybrid that will immerse players in mythical Japan at the beginning of the 12th century.
The teams are participants in the Tech Orda program and students of the Omnium center. They had no prior experience in the gaming industry — they created games from scratch over five months.
As a result of the pitching, the Vanguard team's game won in three categories: "Best Game," "Working Mechanics," and "Most Anticipated Game."
In the "Best Story" category, the CorgiBites team's game was recognized. The "Best Sound" award went to the Stardust Crusaders team's game.
In the "Best Visuals" category, the CorgiBites team's game was the best. The "Critics' Choice" award was given to the WindCity Games team. The "Best Presentation" award went to the Team Luminance team.
Many of the games are already available on Play Market, and will soon be on the App Store as well.
